Čučerje (Hukmani) – Rog
From the Dubrava bus terminal, take bus line 209 to Čučerje and ride it all the way to the last stop, located in the hamlet of Hukmani.
Right away, you'll see the trail marker for trail no. 29. Start walking along Marija Snježna street. The trail leads you through an orchard, then past a vineyard, and alongside several houses before emerging above the village of Čučerje. From there, the trail continues along a narrow asphalt road, which eventually turns into a smaller rural road called Seliščak, heading north and uphill until the last cottage. At this point, turn left, then immediately right into the forest road. You’ve now entered the Lušanica forest, and from here, the trail climbs gently along the forest track until you reach a junction with trail no. 27, just below the Stari Kip peak. Be aware that this section can be muddy in wet weather. From the junction, it’s about 100 metres to the Marija Snježna chapel (Chapel of Our Lady of the Snows), located on the left side. On the right, there's a small path leading to a freshwater spring. After the chapel, the trail continues northward, and you’ll once again come to a junction with trail no. 27 – it goes left, but you should stay on trail no. 29, going right toward the Grubovnica stream. Cross the stream and continue with a gentle ascent into a beautiful beech forest. After about 100 metres, the trail becomes steeper, with a few tight switchbacks, climbing until it reaches the ridge. This part of the beech forest is over a hundred years old, with tall beech trees, offering a bright and spacious woodland – one of the most beautiful areas on Medvednica. Once you reach the ridge, the trail intersects with trail no. 110, just below the western section of Rog (742 m). This is where trail no. 29 ends. From here, trail no. 110 leads left to Gorščica and right to Lipa.
