Glavica mountain Hut – Sopot waterfall

Walk uphill along the road to a ramp, then turn right onto the hiking trail that leads toward the upper parking area on the Zelena Magistrala. The trail is wide and gently winds through the forest until the end, where there’s a final mild ascent. Before reaching the Zelena Magistrala, turn left. You’ve now arrived at the Ponikve meadow and a junction of three trails.

Trail no. 6 goes right to Jambrišak’s spring, trail no. 5 branches off to the left over a small bridge toward Kameni Svati, and you continue on trail no. 103 across the Ponikve meadow to Jambrišak’s spring, where you meet trail no. 6 again. After Jambrišak’s spring, trails no. 103 and no. 6 overlap for about 50 metres with a slight ascent. At the next junction, trail no. 6 turns left toward Kameni Svati, while trail no. 103 continues slightly to the right with a steeper incline toward Lešćina.

At Lešćina, trail no. 8 begins, heading uphill toward the Grafičar mountain hut, while trail no. 103 continues to the right along the ridge toward the Vrapčak stream. This section of the path is very scenic. After a steep descent from the ridge, you’ll reach a gravel road – turn left there. This is the point where trail no. 103 merges with trail no. 4, and the two trails lead together to the Sopot waterfall. A bit before the waterfall, trail no. 103 splits to the right toward the Risnjak mountain hut, while trail no. 4 continues straight ahead to the waterfall itself, which is about a 7-minute walk away.
