Mikulići – Risnjak mountain hut
From the Črnomerec terminal, take bus line 127 to Mikulići and get off at the last stop.
Walk along Talani street until the end. When the asphalt ends, the hiking trail begins, and immediately on the left, you'll see a small shelter with a bench. The trail continues with a gentle ascent through Mikulić Gora. Soon, you'll pass below the Zavurt peak, on the left-hand side. The path gradually flattens and reaches a junction with trail no. 10, which comes in from the left. In a gentle left bend, the path continues and then climbs more steeply to the right, heading up to the Zahurta ridge. It then flattens again and leads to a wide road – the Kustošija gravel path. Up to this point, just follow the trail markings. Take a slight right along the gravel road, then immediately turn left onto trail no. 9 toward the Risnjak mountain hut. The path flattens again here, offering scenic views toward Zagreb. Continue until you reach a worn-down little bridge, and shortly afterward, you'll come to steps that lead to a meadow below the mountain hut. Climb the steps, and you've reached your destination.
