Šumarev Grob – connecting trail Puntijarka–Danjka

At this junction, trail no. 64 branches off gently to the right, going slightly uphill. The trail runs entirely through the forest and it’s beautiful for hiking. It continues with a mild descent, and at one point you’ll need to cross the wide trail no. 19, which leads uphill to the Ivan Pačkovski mountain hut on Puntijarka, and downhill to Bliznec. After crossing trail no. 19, continue gently downhill to the left until you reach the first junction with the Bikčević trail (trail no. 18). This is where the Bikčević trail ends. Throughout this section, the narrow hiking path has been easy and very pleasant to walk.

Continue on trail no. 64, which now becomes a new, wide forest road. From this point up to the junction with trail no. 21, the forestry service has widened the hiking trail into a broad forest road, which climbs gently until it reaches trail no. 21, where trail no. 64 ends. To the right, trail no. 21 leads to Hunjka (about a 30-minute walk), while to the left and uphill, you can reach the Ivan Pačkovski mountain hut on Puntijarka in about 10 minutes.
