Vidovec – Ročićeva Sjenokoša
From the Dubrava bus terminal, take bus line 208 to Vidovec and ride to the last stop.
Continue on foot along Vidovec street toward the small church of Sv. Vid (St. Vitus), then veer slightly right into Čmarci street until you reach a yellow house. From there, turn left uphill onto a narrower path that leads to the meadows. You'll pass several cottages and come out onto a wider gravel road, which you follow until it enters the forest. On your left is a large white cross on Risanica, accessible by a narrow footpath. If you'd like to visit it, be cautious – Risanica is a known habitat of poskok (horned viper). Once Risanica is no longer visible, the trail gradually enters the forest.
The path continues along the western slope of Lušanica, climbing more steeply until it reaches a junction with trail no. 29, which you’ll reach in a little over an hour of walking. After the junction, the trail levels out, and you’ll soon arrive at the Marija Snježna chapel (Chapel of Our Lady of the Snows). To the right of the chapel is a short downhill path leading to a spring. After passing the chapel, you'll reach another junction of trails no. 27 and no. 29. Take the left fork, a wider tractor pathleading toward Rumlec. After about 100 metres, turn sharply right onto a steeper, narrower hiking trail. Once you reach the ridge of Rumlec, the path flattens again, and shortly after, you’ll reach a junction with trail no. 110. Turn right, and soon you’ll arrive at the ridge of Medvednica, at Ročićeva Sjenokoša, where you’ll find two covered shelters.
